Ongoing Client Services

Financial planning should not be viewed as a one-off event, but as an ongoing process.  The one certainty of any financial plan is that circumstances will continue to change.  These changes may be external ones such as changes in investment markets or the economy, or changes in your personal circumstances such as your family situation or your health.  It is therefore imperative that your wealth, risk and estate planning strategies are reviewed regularly.

The following are our ongoing client services.  Please note that some services may be utilised in combination with other services - for example, the Strategic Review Service and the SMSF Compliance Service.


Portfolio and Strategic Review Service

The service includes:

  • Ongoing portfolio monitoring.  This includes recommending any required changes to your portfolio.

  • Six monthly or annual review meetings to:

    • Stay abreast of changes in your personal and financial circumstances that may affect the strategies recommended.

    • Update you on the economic environment, investment and legislative changes that may affect your strategy.

    • Discuss any changes to your objectives, needs and circumstances.

    • Recommend any required changes to your overall strategy.

    • Discuss your portfolio and its performance.

    • Discuss the appropriateness of your investments and any personal insurances, if appropriate.

  • The cost of any additional Statements of Advice or Records of Advice.

  • Liaising with your accountant and/or solicitor, as required, on strategic matters including taxation and estate planning.

  • Regular reporting and communications:

    • You and/or your accountant will receive annual taxation summaries and other information, as required, to assist in the completion of tax returns.

    • You will receive regular newsletters.

    • We will be available to you outside of your review meeting times should you need to discuss any aspect of your financial situation or investment strategy.

    • You will be able to access your portfolio via our website.

  • Assistance with Centrelink compliance, as required.


Strategic Review Service

The service includes:

  • Annual review meetings to:

    • Stay abreast of changes in your personal and financial circumstances that may affect the strategies recommended.

    • Update you on the economic environment, investment and legislative changes that may affect your strategy.

    • Discuss any changes to your objectives, needs and circumstances.

    • Discuss the appropriateness of your personal insurances, if appropriate.

    • Recommend any required changes to your overall strategy - non investment.  The cost of any additional Statements of Advice or Records of Advice is included.

  • Liaising with your accountant and/or solicitor, as required, on strategic matters including taxation and estate planning.

  • Regular reporting and communications:

    • You will receive regular newsletters.

    • We will be available to you outside of your review meeting times should you need to discuss your strategy.

  • Assistance with Centrelink compliance, as required.


Centrelink Compliance and Cash Investment Service

The service includes:

  • Centrelink Complicance Service:

    • Regular review of Centrelink’s assessment of your situation and level of payment.

    • Implementation of benefit maximisation strategies.  This may require a Statement of Advice – cost included.

    • Ongoing assistance, as required, with completion of your Centrelink updates and statements.  These may include income and assets statements and updates and income stream reports.

    • Periodically updating Centrelink with your personal financial information such as bank accounts and share portfolios.

    • Annual meeting, if required.

  • Cash Investment Service:

    • Ongoing monitoring and reinvestment of term deposit monies and cash in order to maximise your interest returns.

  • Regular reporting and communications:

    • You will receive regular newsletters.

    • We will be available to you outside of annual review meeting times should you need to discuss your strategy.

    • Website access to view your accounts.


Cash Investment Service

The service includes:

  • Ongoing monitoring and reinvestment of term deposit monies and cash in order to maximise your interest returns.

  • Annual meeting, if required.

  • Regular reporting and communications:

    • You will receive regular newsletters.

    • We will be available to you outside of annual review meeting times should you need to discuss your strategy.

    • Website access to view your accounts.


Self Managed Super Fund (SMSF) Service

The service includes:

  • Annual review meeting regarding your risk tolerance (SMSF investment strategy), SMSF investment objectives and asset allocation.  Changes may be made to investment strategy as necessary – this may include a new Statement of Advice – cost included.

  • Ensuring that all investments are authorised under the trust deed and meet sole purpose test requirements.

  • Ensuring that diversification and liquidity requirements of your fund are adhered to.

  • Monitoring of strategies such as Account Based Pensions, Transition to Retirement and Salary Sacrifice.

  • Liaison with your accountant regarding tax information and tax returns.

  • Regular reporting and communications:

    • You will receive regular newsletters.

    • We will be available to you outside of review meeting times should you need to discuss your strategy.


Direct Portfolio Model Administration

The service includes:

  • Weekly recommendations relating to your specific portfolio.  The portfolio may include the use of individual listed stocks, Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) and Listed Investment Companies (LICs).

  • The processing of purchases and sales for your portfolio.

  • Ongoing administration relating to your portfolio including management of dividend payments, handling of corporate actions, special offers and voting on resolutions, as required.

  • Compilation and provision of tax information to your accountant.

  • You will be able to access your portfolio via our website.
